Children’s learning is dramatically enhanced by the volunteering of parents, grandparents and community members. HCCS is grateful for the thousands of hours given by our community each year to support reading, numeracy and other classroom activities, excursions, gardening, the P+F Collective, the Learning Assistance Program (LAP), the HCCS Board, camps, class reps and everything else.
Staff members are so grateful for the time, energy, skills and dedication volunteered within our School community.
Volunteers need to have a Police Clearance before working with children or DCSI (Department for Communities and Social Inclusion).
HCCS has prepared a Volunteers Code of Conduct which can accessed here: Code of Conduct – Volunteers 2017
